Individual Counseling

The foundation of Ann's practice is one-on-one therapy in a safe, confidential setting. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, individual sessions provide the space and support you need.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Frequency is determined together based on your needs and goals.

Anxiety & Depression

Living with anxiety or depression can feel overwhelming and isolating. Ann provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore what you're experiencing and develop practical strategies for managing symptoms and building resilience.

Treatment approaches are adapted to each individual and may include cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based techniques.

Grief & Loss

Grief doesn't follow a schedule or a formula. Whether you've lost a loved one, a relationship, or a sense of identity, Ann walks alongside you through the process — honoring your experience without rushing you toward "moving on."

Ann has extensive experience with bereavement counseling spanning her entire career.

Life Transitions

Major changes — retirement, career shifts, divorce, relocation, aging, becoming a caregiver — can shake your sense of self. Ann helps you find your footing during periods of significant change, drawing on her own experience navigating a long and evolving career.

Particularly well-suited for adults and older adults facing transitions in the second half of life.

Stress & Burnout

When the demands of daily life exceed your capacity to cope, it's not a failure — it's a signal. Work with Ann to identify sources of chronic stress, set healthier boundaries, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

After over fifty years in practice, Ann's approach is integrative and deeply informed by experience. She draws from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered frameworks — always adapting to what works best for you.
